Newington Historical District Commission Enters the Section 106 Process

The Spaulding Turnpike expansion projects over the last 20 years have done little to benefit Newington. With the State's determination to destroy the General Sullivan Bridge rather than preserve it as it had agreed to do in 2008, the local HDC entered the fray to advocate for real historic preservation.
